Don't be too hard on the Reds.

The reds had a great season.....but a terrible post season. I am disapointed but to be honest they faced a better team and our team is very young. That's the silver lining in all of this though..they are very young and will hopefully get better. This is a learning experience and with the young core of players I'm sure they will be back here next year. The frustration is still there...Cincinnati sports teams just seem to be cursed. The reds finally make it to the playoffs and they get no hit in the first game. The Bengals make it to the playoffs and Carson Palmer has a devastating knee injury against Our most hated rivals. Kenyon Martin breaks his leg in the tournament and the Bearcats can't recover. Cincinnati sports fans go through a ton heartbreak. I think that makes us real fans.....sticking with the Bengals alone all these years should earn you some cred. I'm proud of the Reds this year and as long as the ownership keeps this team together I think that they will have a real shot at a championship. Joey Votto may be the best player in baseball and they better pay his ass what he deserves. I have ignored baseball the last few years but because of this season the Reds have given me interestin the game again and I will be excited when April comes around next year.
